Grandmaster Timur Gareev
There are about 2000 grandmasters in the world right now , yet non of them other than Timur hold a guniess world record! and such a special record blindfold chess over 48 games breaking years old record . Other than this exceptional achievement Timur is a strong Grandmaster with many notable achievement in his career and years of coaching experience.
Gareyev’s chess development began at age 10 when he was playing expert level strength and dedicating 4-6 hours every day, working with his coach Georgi Borisenko and mastering the game on his own. By 2004, at 16, he earned the distinction as the youngest-ever Grandmaster from Asia. Gareyev represented Uzbekistan in 2004 and 2006 Olympiad
From 2009-2011, he traveled to the US and helped the University of Texas at Brownsville win its first national championship. After receiving his B.A. degree in 2011, Gareyev was awarded the Samford Fellowship in 2012, which awarded him a monetary stipend to assist his chess development. He consistently placed first in numerous tournaments including Land of the Sky 2012, and the North American Open 2012. In 2013, he tied for third in the US Chess Championship
Held training and hosted successful chess camps with top youth students of Rio Grande Valley as well as Austin Texas. Reached out to hundreds of youngsters via masterclasses and blindfold demo matches around the world including all over United States as well as over 20 countries around the world
